Emerald Forest
"Emerald Forest" is the latest of John's albums, released in November 2005. It is designed to produce the same calm, relaxed alpha state as the rest of Johns work. Emerald Forest also reflects the crisp, still, timeless atmosphere of ancient trees in sunlight.
From the release of ‘Emerald Forest’ up to the end of December 2005, £3 was donated to the childrens charity NCH for every copy of this album sold. NCH is the largest UK charity helping children and young people facing difficulties or challenges in their lives, including those affected by poverty, disability and abuse.
John is a classically trained composer and pianist and this work is based on his knowledge of the centuries-old pentatonic and lydian scales.
