Join Tour of Hospices 2007 
The international composer is taking two months out of his year to go on the road with a charity tour of hospices. Performing his original Alphamusic for patients with terminal illness and their carers, John Levine’s music could not find a more helpful role. The music, scientifically created to bring your brainwaves into alpha state, has a profound effect on the symptoms of stress and anxiety. The interactive Alphamusic performances are entertaining and light, but the effects are profound. All who listen come away feeling better, relieved and relaxed. John will be travelling from county to county throughout September and October 2007 (see list of hosting hospices below.) Concert for Diana and other Big Events Feature John Levine’s Alphamusic John’s music has just featured at the Live Earth Concert at Wembley Stadium, on 7th July 2007. His beautiful and heart-warming Emerald Forest composition made a meaningful contribution to the event. Emerald Forest is purpose-designed to bring calm and encourage easy communication. Emerald Forest also played at the Concert for Diana, on July 1st 2007, at Wembley Stadium, celebrating the life of Diana, Princess of Wales. The music played to another mass audience at Hyde Park Calling, on 23rd and- 24th June, 2007. Patrick Holford and professional centres endorse and use Alphamusic Alphamusic is widely praised by its many listeners and a significant range of biomedical and alternative health professionals. Patrick Holford, the UK Health Guru and world-renowned nutrition expert, personally endorses John Levine’s Alphamusic. Holford says he uses the music himself and recommends John’s flagship CD, Silence of Peace, at his seminars and talks. Alphamusic is also used in children’s nurseries, schools and in centres for highly sensitive children, for instance with e.g. ADD/ADHD and other autism spectrum disorders, as well as at hospitals, clinics, health resorts and by individuals across the world. John Levine's Alphamusic has been the subject of research into pain management strategies and of a University of Cambridge thesis into behaviour management in the classroom. John Levine has designed a workshop to offer his listeners the opportunity to actively take part in understanding and using alphamusic to induce the alpha state of mind. Participants will engage in numerous exercises, mediations, energisers and the opportunity to share their feelings in a fun and friendly environment. They will learn how to create a ‘musical sound-scape’, and how to affect change. |
