Here you can download some examples of the sonifications I made for the radio show today (21/10/2008), for John Levine's Happy and Healthy hour on 209 Radio, Cambridge.
The examples below are sonifications made in a short time using Max/Msp. Each hemispheres sidebands (delta, theta, alpha, low beta, middle beta, high beta) volume is used to trigger or alter something in separate FM synths, or they change the speed of loops I recorded saying the names of the sidebands.
Raw signal (this is the complex signal, before FFT pitchshifted)
EEG rhythm bar (alpha amplitude is used to change the rate/speed of the bar)
Simple FM synth's (amplitude of the brainwaves changes the volume of Frequency Modulated Synthesisers, panned /L - left hemisphere, R - right hemisphere)

(the 3 examples above together, in time, I started only with some sidebands, than I added the rest later)
MAJOR FIFTH
Here
you can listen to a short composition I made on the fly, using a few
instruments playin the major fifth. The notes are panned, for a better
effect use headphones.
